From field bunds to engineering blueprints.
For decades, protective gear makers treated agriculture as an afterthought. Safety boots built for concrete construction sites are heavy, collect kilograms of sticky soil and trap sweat in tropical humidity. Flimsy PVC gumboots crack in the sun and rip off in mud suction.
“We asked hundreds of farmers why they worked barefoot despite snakebites and chemical burns. The answer was universal: existing boots made their work harder, not safer.”
AgroBalanz set out to create a new category — premium technical agricultural footwear. We spent three years in agricultural belts across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Assam, studying gait during transplanting, measuring foot swell after 12 hours of standing and analysing venomous snake strikes.
The result is the AB-01: a boot engineered for the chemical, biological and mechanical realities of the Indian field.

Banavath Preetham Kumar comes from an agricultural family. Long before AgroBalanz had a name, he knew the field the way farmers know it: wet paddy at dawn, sharp stubble after harvest, chemical sprays carried on the wind, and the long walk home on tired feet.
He watched the people closest to him work through thorns, mud and snake-infested field borders with nothing more than slippers or cracked gumboots. Injuries were treated as part of the job. He never accepted that they had to be.
As the founder of Primex Technologies Pvt Ltd, he learned to turn hard problems into engineered products. AgroBalanz is where both parts of his life meet — an agricultural upbringing and an engineer’s discipline — in a single mission: give India’s farmers protective gear as serious as the work they do.
